Located just 600 metres west of the heart of Margaret River, Old Dairy Cottage provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 1 or 2 guests.
The single bedroom residence offers contemporary styling and ample (indoor and outdoor) living space. The lovely native gardens bring in the bird life, while the fruit trees will (in time) be there for guests to plunder.
To welcome our guests, we provide a simple “starter” breakfast, sachets of tea, coffee and sugar; together with a complimentary bottle of wine and slippers. Regrettably, we can’t cater to dietary needs or individual tastes.
The owners have installed original artworks and will add to these in due course.
Historic Old Dairy
We've taken licence here. The property, which we've subdivided, was once part of an old dairy farm. In fact, when we purchased the land, the old "homestead" was still standing, but had become a shelter for squatters. The neighbours were elated when we demolished it and even more delighted when we started to develop.
Old Dairy Cottage has been constructed on the southern-most third of the block and was completed mid-December 2016.
Gumnuts is our own rating system, being more in keeping with our style of property than stars.
